Job Summary

Responsible for managing the development and implementation of direct marketing communications and related campaigns and programs that seek to achieve subscriber and revenue goals. Executes Direct Marketing Communications strategies, campaigns and programs. Determines appropriate creative and product messaging and reviews final development and advertising tactics. Oversees competitive marketing and tracking programs. Manages professional employees and may manage business support/technical staff. Has accountability for managing campaign/program forecasting, budgets, and reconciliation. Has overall responsibility for developing and administering performance standards for organizational unit. Develops processes and procedures to implement functional strategies. Oversees agency accountability and output throughout the Direct Marketing Communications development process.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

Collaborates with appropriate personnel to execute Direct Marketing Communications strategies that advertise the Company's new and existing products or services in appropriate direct marketing communications tactics.

Manages the creative development of all direct marketing tactics for each campaign and program, including direct mail, customer letters, bill messages and other projects.

Consults with leadership regarding strategy, content, design and production of all direct marketing materials and is responsible for ensuring accuracy of content before being communicated.

Provides leadership and direction to Direct Marketing Communications personnel and develops and implements appropriate methods, practices, policies to guide work.

Serves as liaison between Direct Marketing Communications and necessary internal and external parties) to ensure project goals, timelines and budget parameters are maintained. Ensures key Direct Marketing Communications programs are communicated both internally and externally.

Responsible for direct marketing budget forecasting, management and reconciliation as part of overall media budget.

Develops and implements mechanisms for response analysis to determine ROI on selected campaigns and programs.

Partners with media services to develop relevant media plans for each Direct Marketing Communications programs to help drive retention and acquisition.

Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
