Description

Humana is seeking an experienced and dynamic Associate Director of Accreditation to manage a team of subject matter experts on NCQA Health Plan Accreditation and NCQA Health Equity Accreditation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in accreditation and survey administration, as well as experience in managing teams and providing guidance on complex accreditation questions. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with NCQA standards, manage team workload and work assignments, and play a key role in NCQA survey administration tasks. This is a dynamic role requiring strong leadership experience, critical thinking/problem solving skills, and a strategic mindset.

Responsibilities

Leads a team who is responsible for NCQA Health Plan Accreditation and NCQA Health Equity Accreditation.

Provides guidance and support to associates on complex accreditation questions.

Develops and maintain work plans to ensure timely completion of accreditation requirements.

Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with NCQA standards.

Provides regular updates to senior leadership on accreditation progress and any identified areas of improvement.

Plays a key role in NCQA survey administration tasks, including scheduling, applications, and submission of Interactive Review Tools.

Monitors industry trends and best practices related to accreditation and survey administration.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree.

Minimum five (5) years of experience in Accreditation, with a proven track record of success in NCQA Health Plan Accreditation and/or NCQA Health Equity Accreditation.

Minimum three (3) years of leading teams of professionals.

Proven experience managing and maintaining a positive, supportive team culture.

Strong understanding of NCQA health plan accreditation standards and survey administration.

Project management experience with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.

Work at Home Requirements

At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.

Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.

Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree in health-related field.

Clinical license in nursing or behavioral health.

Additional Information

Workstyle: Remote, United States

Travel: Up to 10% travel for onsite audits and team engagement meetings/training, which may take place outside of your home state.

Core Work Days & Hours: Monday - Friday; Eastern Standard Time(EST) or Central Standard Time (CST).

Direct Reports: Up to 12 associates.

Interview Format

As part of our hiring process, we will be using an exciting interviewing technology provided by Modern Hire, a third-party vendor. This technology provides our team of recruiters and hiring managers an enhanced method for decision-making.

If you are selected to move forward from your application prescreen, you will receive correspondence inviting you to participate in a pre-recorded Voice Interview and/or an SMS Text Messaging interview. If participating in a pre-recorded interview, you will respond to a set of interview questions via your phone. You should anticipate this interview to take approximately 10-15 minutes.

If participating in a SMS Text interview, you will be asked a series of questions to which you will be using your cell phone or computer to answer the questions provided. Expect this type of interview to last anywhere from 5-10 minutes. Your recorded interview(s) via text and/or pre-recorded voice will be reviewed, and you will subsequently be informed if you will be moving forward to next round of interviews.
