JOB OVERVIEW

Manage, design, develop, modify, and present programs.

 

This position will be with Service Learning and funds from the Johnson Foundation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

*Manage, design, develop, modify and present programs.  Perform program needs assessment and make recommendations. *Implement policies and procedures.  *Maintain budget, prepare contracts, approve and monitor expenditures, prepare budget requests and financial reports.  *Act as liaison to internal departments, external entities and community organizations. *May prepare and edit reports and/or newsletters and develop publication materials. *May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.). *Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

*Bachelor's Degree. *Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

*Three (3) years of experience in program development or business administration. *May require supervision experience.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS CONSIDERED

*Experience building/maintaining collective impact relationships with faculty/staff, students, and employers/partners. *Experience with Point of Contact Partners/Employers: i.e funding options, answering questions, providing recommendations and walking employers/partners through the recruiting process, verifying students' eligibility for funding programs, sending/receiving MOU's, ensuring that employers and students comply with program requirements, staying in touch with grant administrator, Parker Dewey, and the Work-Study office as needed. *Experience with Data Management. *Experience with Marketing, Promotion, Reporting.
