We are looking for a highly capable SAP Finance Senior Business Systems Manager

to assist our Finance organization in transforming our current business processes by thoroughly understanding our current processes, matching SAP capabilities to the business requirements, collaborating with SAP implementation team in developing and integrating SAP solutions. The successful candidate will be analyzing our processes, collaborating with management on SAP integration, and working toward a successful implementation of our SAP solutions.

To ensure success as a SAP senior business analyst, the candidate should exhibit an in-depth knowledge of specialized business needs and extensive experience in SAP configurations and integrating SAP processes.

What You Will Be Doing:

Assess business needs via business process analysis, collaboration, and observation.

Determine how to leverage standard SAP functionalities to transform targeted business processes and design new to-be business processes in collaboration with the SAP implementation project team. When necessary, propose customized solutions to support unique business needs.

Lead the design and solution configuration to meet the most complex business requirements leveraging current SAP solutions including S/4 HANA Finance and Centralized Finance.

Effectively collaborate with SAP technical infrastructure teams (i.e., SAP Basis, Security Admin, SAP ABAP developer, integration, and database) to offer technical solutions and resolve issues.

Validate SAP configurations to ensure the designed solutions meet business requirements.

Prepare or enhance SAP functional test scripts to ensure that the SAP solutions work as designed.

Actively participate in system integration tests and facilitate user acceptance testing

Document SAP processes and prepare progress reports.

Provide SAP end-user training and support.

Keep informed of the latest SAP updates, developments, and offerings.

Technical Competencies:

Expert knowledge of S/4 HANA Finance with an emphasis on Finance and Controlling modules (i.e. GL, AR, AP, asset accounting - AA, profit center accounting - PCA, cost center accounting - CCA, internal orders - IO, etc.).

Experience with Centralized Finance ideally with CO-PA and CO-PCA integration.

Experience with SAP FSCM (Dispute Management, Collections Management, Credit Management)

Experience with 3rd party tax solutions and BPC (Planning and/or Consolidation) is beneficial.

Education, Experience and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, management information systems, business, finance, or in a related field preferred.

Relevant SAP certification.

Minimum 8 years SAP configuration experience in FICO.

Solid knowledge of relevant business processes and their integration with SAP systems.

Strong understanding of general accounting principles (e.g., US GAAP)

In-depth knowledge of the latest advancements in SAP applications.

Superb collaboration and communication skills.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Advanced ability to manage projects and provide leadership.

Experience with at least two full life cycle implementations

Previous experience in gathering business requirements and clearly translating into specifications for IT solution design (concept to production)

Must be able to work independently, interact with core team members, and be dedicated to drive system improvements without day-to-day supervision

Must be able to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously

Pure Storage applies a geographic based pay structure depending on an employee’s location. For applicants located in Colorado (as required by SB19-085):

The minimum annual base salary range is: $94,000. This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
