Backcountry is hiring a Manager FP&A to join the Finance team at our Park City, UT office. This Manager of Fixed Overhead reports to the\u00A0Finance Director\u00A0and is responsible for building and supporting all fixed overhead reporting, forecasting, budgeting and analysis for our websites, functions and cost centers.\u00A0This role is responsible for managing the rhythm of the business including Monthly Business Reports and Forecast cadence.\u00A0ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Originate and develop analyses to help executives and board members better understand financial trends and financial opportunities (e.g., cost savings, business development, etc.)Help manage the Company\u2019s annual budget building process, including developing key assumptions, working with operating business partners to develop budgets to achieve desired financial resultsHelp manage the Company\u2019s ongoing forecast process outlining potential risks, and opportunities proactively making recommendationsProvide financial, analytical and decision support for all of Backcountry's websitesReview and analyze financial and business operating reports conducting variance analysis and making recommendations to improve resultsBuild and update financial models/budgets and perform ad hoc data inquiries as neededPartner closely with our technology business partners to build and manage spend targets while anticipating the related impact to the P&L and cashflowWork across the organization to create and help manage overhead expense expectationsAutomate, refine and enhance financial reporting and KPIs to ensure clear, consistent and impactful reportingWork with business intelligence tools to extract relevant data; work with BI team members to gather dataDemonstrate working knowledge of financial concepts and principles of business metrics and analyses, including their application to effective reporting and analysisAble to draw concise and crisp conclusion from complex and detailed data, and present results to managementStay current on retail industry trends and developments; stay current with the latest analytics trends and developments. Discuss trends with FP&A team members and make recommendations as appropriateCoach and develop Financial AnalystsQUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:Four-year college degree or equivalent experience is required - MBA,MAcc, CPA or CFA preferred5 years of professional experienceMicrosoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint), familiarity with\u00A0Hyperion Essbaseis a plusMust be an analytical, strategic thinker with the ability to effectively collaborate with various business unitsAbility to work cross-functionally, providing financial expertise as a service to different departmentsExperience in financial modelingAdvanced understanding of financial conceptsAdvanced understanding of Accounting implications, including GAAP and interrelationship of financial statementsAble to manage multiple high pressure competing deadlines, while delivering high quality work\u00A0
