SUMMARYUnder general supervision, the Assistant Operations Manager assists the Operations Manager in daily activities. This role develops, manages, and delivers support services to our sales force and assists in the administrative services of sales. The Assistant Operations Manager acts as liaison between customers, our sales force, and distribution. Motion offers an excellent benefits package which includes options for healthcare coverage, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, vacation, sick, and holiday pay.JOB DUTIES Assists in maintaining sales support activities at the branch.\u00A0 Trains sales staff on sales related systems, databases, and associated processes.\u00A0 Provides customer support including, order processing, advising customers of product shortages, expected delivery dates, and price changes.\u00A0 Implements and maintains pricing per established policies.\u00A0 Assists Operations Manager with all Accounts Payable activities within the branch including expense, inventory and freight invoices, and debit memos.\u00A0 Prepares reports related to customer inquiries, sales trends, customer complaints, delivery or service problems.\u00A0 Assists customers and suppliers to resolve order problems.\u00A0 Manages inventory for Branch, including the day-to-day maintenance of inventory levels through replenishing stock to meet annual turn goals.\u00A0 May fill in for other lower level roles within the branch.\u00A0 Performs other duties as assigned.\u00A0EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Typically requires a high school diploma or GED and zero (0) to two (2) years of related experience.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES May be required to be on-call on nights or weekends, depending on need. Proficient in Microsoft Office.\u00A0 Excellent communication and presentation skills to all levels of employees.\u00A0 Industry and sales experience preferred.\u00A0 Ability to perform financial calculations and generate reports.\u00A0 Demonstrated people and leadership skills.\u00A0 Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and projects.\u00A0 Professional, self-motivated employee with excellent interpersonal skills.\u00A0 Exemplary work ethic and decision making ability.
