Planning ManagerWe are looking for a Planning Manager for Pilgrim\u2019s that\u00A0plans and manages production schedules aiding in procurement of product inputs to meet order fill rate and on-time delivery metrics based on sales forecasts, customer demands, and production lead-times.Responsibilities: Schedule and direct production planning meetings, track operational performance to schedules, and coordinate necessary adjustments. Optimize inventory levels and working capital while supporting targeted customer service levels. Coordinate with Category Marketing and Demand Planning to validate accuracy of forecasts to strategically manage future production plans. Coordinate production requirements with Procurement and Operations to ensure adequate inventory of raw materials, packaging, and ingredient components. Work with Operations to manage inventory levels and age of packaging and ingredient components. Work closely with Operations to understand and support their needs in order to facilitate high schedule adherence. Work closely with Corporate Procurement to strategically plan future production input needs. Take part in the logistics planning and contracting of raw materials and finished products. Utilize a collaborative approach with Inventory Control and Distribution Planning to ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment. Manage and maintain OFR indicators for Prepared Food\u2019s customers. Develop S&OP plan and lead presentation to cross function teams. Other duties as assigned.Qualifications: \u00A0 Requires a Bachelor's degree in related field (business, supply chain, etc.); MBA is a plus. 5-7 years of supply chain and/or industry experience. Possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the forecast process. Must have intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Must be proficient in Microsoft Access and Advanced Analytics. Ability to view the supply chain as a series of linked processes.\u00A0 Have a solid understanding of electronic business systems. Maintains exceptional analytical, math and problem-solving skills Must have strong organizational skills and acute attention to details. Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and ask questions as needed. Must have a track record of successful implementation. Knowledge of SAP or other software related to production planning is preferred.As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. Unless otherwise specified in this posting, the amount of travel may vary and the most qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate.The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following\u00A0compensation and benefits: Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment; Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays; 401(k):company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule; Base salary\u00A0range of\u00A0$90,000 to $105,000 Incentive Pay:\u00A0This position is eligible to participate in the Company\u2019s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, JBS and Pilgrim\u2019s is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role.
