What You Will Be Doing
Build, lead and manage a team of rockstar program managers that manage all aspects of Portworx software and SaaS programs from concept to delivery and subsequent lifecycle management
Build and manage scalable processes that accelerate delivery of products and capabilities that deliver great value to our customers
Define and track meaningful metrics that provide end to end program health and be able to drill down and troubleshoot as needed
Partner closely with other functions like Development, QA, Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Support and other groups to ensure cross-functional alignment for all the deliverables
Drive the annual budget planning cycles, build a budget framework and the key needs of the product engineering teams are tied in to the budget, aligned with the business needs
Manage and own the budget during the year to ensure that both the cap-ex and op-ex spend are within plan and also tightly control the SaaS COGS to ensure high gross margins
Work with the VP to drive the annual review cycles across the Portworx engineering organization and functional groups to ensure smooth HR operations across the sites.
Manage procurement and vendor relationships for key vendor contracts and continue to find opportunities to drive costs down for all the services consumed by the product team.\
Lead and drive Operations Reviews, Leadership interlocks, engage with other Business Units and Global Program and Strategy offices to ensure the BU priorities and deliverables are given the right visibility to the executive team.
Be the change agent. Constantly evaluate operational efficiency and drive for continuous improvement everyday. Be the personification of Operational Excellence.
What You Will Bring
B.S or M.S in Computer Science and Equivalent.
10 years of program management experience and at least 5 years of managing a TPM team for SaaS and Subscription software products delivery.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Deep and broad knowledge of Agile methodologies and concepts and real world experience of where Agile delivers the most value
Experience managing a global team with key stakeholders in different geographies
Understanding basic cloud principles, application development and software lifecycle management
Puts the team and product ahead of self, willing to adapt and iterate quickly and have proven ability navigate through fast paced business challenges and decisions.
The annual base salary range is: $163,000 - $244,000. Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
