Position Overview
Brightcove is seeking a Director of Americas Field Marketing who will be responsible for leading America’s field marketing team. Reporting to the VP of Global Demand Generation, you will lead the overall marketing planning, collaboration and execution across: segmentation, messaging, campaign architecture, campaign activation and reporting. You will work closely with product marketing, Marcom and regional sales teams to develop fully integrated programs that drive rich engagement throughout the buyer’s journey in our target segments, generating a predictable pipeline and driving greater market share for Brightcove. The successful candidate will be an exceptionally strong and creative field marketing professional who can demonstrate past success driving demand and creating strong thought leadership market positions in these regions.
Focused on acquiring new customers as well as upsell, cross sell activities with existing customers through the management of marketing campaigns with multiple channels including PR, social media, digital advertising, webinars, virtual events, content syndication, email, ABM and lead nurture; this position requires a candidate with a blend of strategy, creative, analytics and project management expertise.
Job Responsibilities
Define and lead regional marketing strategy that is aligned to global marketing and sales strategies, priority targets, pipeline goals; and focused on current business and market trends
Own the creation and execution of regional field marketing plans in partnership with Marcom, product marketing, and regional sales leadership
Lead a team of 2-3 regional field marketing managers responsible for the planning and execution of regional marketing programs that will deliver a predictable pipeline
Partner with regional sales leadership team in planning marketing strategies and programs that uncover new opportunities and accelerate deal velocity
Adapt global campaigns for relevancy in regional market and craft targeted campaigns relevant to specific regional market where needed
Define account-based goals and objectives in conjunction with regional sales leadership
Communicate regional marketing program status, action items, results, and deliverables across marketing and sales. Participate in regional Quarterly Business Reviews, and other executive reviews
Qualifications/Experience
10 years experience in marketing within a B2B SaaS company; with deep experience leading a global field marketing organisation at scale
Demonstrated success owning the strategy, framework, development and execution for global, multichannel demand generation campaigns, targeting enterprise size companies. Experience with strategic accounts and ABM is a must
Big picture thinking, and meticulous attention to details – ability to quickly understand overall business objectives, create a well-aligned marketing strategy and execution plans with clearly defined metrics and KPIs
Strong analytical skills, and proven track record in making data-driven decisions to continually optimize performance and determine future investments
Exceptional ability to lead, influence and work across organisational boundaries with a strong track record of cross-functional collaboration
Excellent communication skills, both at the executive level and with peers and cross-functional teams
Strong professional proficiency in G-Suite, Marketing Automation, ABM and CRM systems such as Eloqua, 6sense and Salesforce.com, as well as other office productivity and collaboration tools
