What’ the role?
The Cluster Technical Marketing Manager is responsible to lead the Latin America (LATAM) Marketing strategy to deliver Region Road Map Goals from direct and indirect business. To cascade and engage Macro Distributors (MDs) on Business ambitions and align strategic priorities for local marketing plans. To understand Cluster lubricant current market profile, main trends and customer needs to drive long term strategy and increase brand value.
In addition, understand Global Lubricant Business Purpose and strategy to align cluster priorities and guarantee brand guidelines & campaign implementation with relevance for local markets. Plus improve region investment efficiency with strong ROI, SP&A and Distributor Fund budget control.
Accountabilities;
Set LATAM lubricant business priorities to support Volume, delivery from direct (Brazil) and Indirect Market (LA MD).
Support Road Map review and Annual Business Plan Exercise with clear marketing bottom-up activities contribution to support set T&R by country
Engage Macro distributor on Vision, Goals and guarantee right MDF allocation supporting RMMs on this exercise and sign off every MD marketing plan on ABP
Set Cluster Marketing activities with clear guidelines for MD implementation and control ROI from Brazil and MDs marketing investment (at least 70% of total investment with ROI Review)
Deliver brand preference increase through strong media plan on Brazil and approving each MD brand investment plan with regional support to maintain brand communication consistence, global alignment (respecting guidelines) and synergies to improve investment efficiency
Review business strategy at a market or segment level, identifying opportunities to accelerate growth or turnaround results. Set clear CVPs by sector / Brand investment and action plan during the year to support cluster deliver results
Lead cluster to maintain accelerated Premium growth year after year through all marketing activities

Requirements:
Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
Bachelor's degree in business or related field. Master's/MBA in Marketing preferred
Minimum 10 years of front line experience in a role with heavy technical content (preferable in lubricants environment), better if with customer contact or relations
Proven track record in leading and developing teams
Experience in developing, coaching and working with Micro Distributors
Firm understanding of lubricants - types of lubes, manufacturing process and how able to translate to future customer
Bilingual English / Spanish
This position can sit in Houston, TX or Miami, FL.
