Mission Systems Group (MSG) has an immediate opportunity for an Acquisition Project Manager supporting the Fighters and Advanced Aircraft and Bombers Directorates at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH. The Acquisition Project Manager will provide a full range of program management support to Fighters and Advanced Aircraft and/or Bombers Directorate program management offices, in accordance with DoDD 5000.01, Defense Acquisition System, DoDI 5000.02, Adaptive Acquisition Framework, and AFI 63-101/20-101, Integrated Life Cycle Management guidance and will serve as an adviser to government personnel. The ideal candidate for this position is self-motivated, possesses broad U.S. Air Force acquisition experience, is comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative work environment, and is able to identify and prioritize necessary tasks/activities to ensure program and organizational success.Duties will include planning, executing, and controlling acquisition programs through all phases of the acquisition life-cycle.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesAssist in the development of: Documentation of acquisition strategiesProgram documentation as identified in AFI 63-101/20-101, Integrated Life Cycle Management, Chapter 4, Table 4.1Statements of Work or Performance Work Statements and other Request for Proposal documentsSupport: Technical evaluation of program proposalsIdentification, analysis, mitigation development, and monitoring of program risks, issues, and opportunitiesDevelopment and analysis of program Integrated Master SchedulesAnalysis of program cost performance (Earned Value Management) and implementation of corrective actions Master of Arts (MA) / Master of Science (MS) in a Business Management or Engineering discipline, plus eight (8) years of Program Management experience, four (4) of those years must be in DoD Acquisition Programs OR Bachelor of Arts (BA) / Bachelor of Science (BS) in a Business Management or Engineering discipline, plus ten (10) years of Program Management experience, four (4) of those years must be in DoD Acquisition ProgramExtensive knowledge and demonstrated application of DoD and Air Force program management policies and procedures on an ACAT III or higher modification program on a major weapon systemAbility to work effectively both independently and a part of a collaborative teamExcellent written and verbal communications skillsAN ACTIVE DOD SECRET (S) CLEARANCE WITH THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN TOP SECRET WITH SCI (TS/SCI) IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZENTelework – Available with COR approval Knowledge of:Avionics in support of avionics subsystem definition, development, integration, and testing.Requirements development and verification methods to include review of ICD, sustainment, T&E, system architectures, and airworthiness certification across a wide range of hardware and software systemsCommunications, navigation, and identification (CNI) systems Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO) development and validation Experience with:Reviewing and/or developing AF Form 1067 (Modification Proposals)Fielding new and updated aircraft systemsAnalysis of cost and schedule execution using Earned Value Management (EVM)Development of integrated master schedules (IMS) and analysis of critical path and schedule execution using Microsoft Project#LI-AH1ENSCO has been delivering engineering, science, and advance technology solutions to complex priority programs since 1969.
