Pilgrim’s is seeking a Security Manager for our Moorefield, WV location.The Security Supervisor is responsible for providing a safe and secure work environment for all Employees by enforcing company policies and procedure. Additional responsibilities will be set forth by the Complex Safety Manager.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for day to day operation of the security department.Schedule security officers for work and training.Assist in setting standards for security officers.Write Post Orders.Write memorandums in security related matters.Interview applicants for the position of security officer.Set and enforce the dress code for the security officers.Prepare and/or create necessary forms required.Review all reports submitted by security officers for completeness and legibility.Distribute reports as directed by company policy and procedures.Attend meetings as required.Conduct investigations as required.Provide leadership and discipline to create and maintain an efficient and responsible security department in an effort to provide a safe and secure work place.Manage the security and safety for all complex locations to include live.Manage and train on the Ccure system 8000 for guards and internal managers.Be the liaison between local law enforcement and managementMeet monthly with local law enforcementFully Manage the security budget with regards to zero based budgetReview staffing reports and utilize employees to reduce overtimeManage security with regards to the food defense policyOther duties as assigned.BASIC SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:5 to 10 years of management experience.Previous leadership skills with 20 or more employees.Effective communication both orally and in writing.Capable of independent decision making.Must have basic computer knowledge.Ability to manage multiple priorities.Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.Requires basic computer skills.  For example, using word, excel, email. PowerPoint and CcureEDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma/GED; College Degree in related field preferred.EOE/Vet/Disabled
