The Operations Supervisor provides leadership in managing all hourly operators in Bowling Green, KY Lubricants Plant that produces & supplies the Americas Region, providing products to a broad range of customer channels including end users, distributors, and major National Key Accounts
What’s the role?
The Operations Supervisor will be responsible in the success of the plant, measured by HSSE performance, achieving/sustaining cost competitiveness position performance, and superior customer service as key goals. The role includes maximizing the effectiveness of a culturally diverse workforce to deliver Safety, Customer Service and Financial goals.
Accountabilities:
Provide visible leadership on site while managing our three priorities, People, Value Creation and Customer Satisfaction. All underpinned by HSSE and our ‘Goal Zero, No Harm, No Leaks’ mindset.
Deliver world leading HSSE performance as measured within Lubricants Supply Chain.
Meet all local, state, and federal regulations relating to plant operations.
Operate within the annual OPEX Expense Budget for terminal operations
Deliver an On Time In Full (OTIF) Performance: 92% minimum
Meet product Quality standards and Quality KPI’s ensuring zero Customer impacting Quality Incidents.
Maintain a productive working relationship with Global/Head Office organizations including but not limited to, Planning, Supply Chain Excellence, Sales, Sales & Operations Planning, Transportation, Customer Services, Human Resources, Finance, Public Affairs, Legal, Security, and HSSE.
Maintain a strong working relationship with our logistics network partners including 3rd Party Distributors, Regional DCs and other Lube Oil Blend Plants.
Coach staff to develop full competency of current and future roles
Champion culture of Continuous Improvement by promoting capability/knowledge amongst terminal employees, driving SOP/Leader Std Work/Visual Comms and managing projects/value creation initiatives.

Operating and Managing with limited and shared resources
Energizing a small team to continue to excel in HSSE and Operational Excellence amidst a uncertain business environment
Challenging the norm and eliminating waste within the process to allow people to operate multi functionally whilst demonstrating and promoting Work-Life Balance
Build culture of Continuous Improvement and drive benefits to HSSE, Quality and Production
Standardization and simplification of work processes for more efficient/error free performance.
Analyses performance to identify opportunities to improve customer service, operational key performance indicators and resources (e.g. cash, equipment)

Requirements:
What we need from you -
Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
Bachelor's in any field with relevant field experience.
Minimum five (5) years operations experience in a lubricants plant or manufacturing facility
Managing integrated aspects of Supply Chain performance, ensuring business profitability while maintaining high customer service.
Support a high performing team to generate ideas, which lead to Continuous Improvement.
HSSE Leadership and Risk Management Framework in all activities undertaken.
