Job Details:

SUMMARY: This position will provide support to the general Complex Manager and the Operations Manager. Position will be involved in identifying and resolving issues related to yields safety and direct this team to achieve operational safety human resources and financial goals. Responsibilities include assisting with maintaining daily surveillance of overall operations and the performance of all facets of the facility along with monitoring yields and general efficiencies of all departments. This position will be involved in supplementing all critical plant planning functions to include but not limited to: labor relations personnel planning labor efficiencies safety worker s compensation ergonomics management development supply material procurement and maintenance.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent college degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of 6 years business experience with past experience in plant operations and food inspections a plus with 2 years superintendent level or above; must have a strong operational background both in slaughter and processing. Computer Skills: Good working knowledge of computer.

Communication Skills: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Special Skills: Knowledge of USDA and OSHA regulations; ability to lead by example and solve problems in an effective manner with sound follow-up; ability to work with department heads to meet safety production and quality yields and meet goals; strong managerial skills; decision making and problem solving skills. Supervisory: This position is responsible for managing several groups of personnel.
