Description

The Lead Product Manager conceives of, develops, delivers, and manages products for customer use. The Lead Product Manager works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

We are working on transforming our enrollment experience. In this role you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, engineers, analysts, and other cross-functional team members within the organization to ensure that the enrollment product amaze and delight our users. We are bringing the change making enrollment real-time, leveraging the latest technology and making our vision of Inspiring health and well-being for each person possible. This is a remote role, however, if you live outside of the Louisville, Kentucky area, you will be required to travel to the Louisville Waterside office (101 E. Main Street, Louisville, KY 40202) on a quarterly basis to attend in-person meetings once CDC restrictions are lifted.

Responsibilities:

Create Product strategy and roadmap, along with development of use cases across Humana's different line of business and enterprise systems.

Work closely with business, marketing, sales, operations and legal stakeholders to integrate business processes and policies onto the platform

Work closely with engineering team to manage backlog and prioritize the work

Collaborate with technical, architecture, security and compliance team for overall research and design thinking

Excellent ability of assessing value and understanding feasibility for prioritization at multiple altitudes including epic, feature and story roadmaps and backlogs.

Collaborate with various Humana product teams to integrate enrollment information to enable real time enrollment for the members

Collaborate with Data and Analytics team and integrate with their investments in high impact conversational, prediction and personalization strategy

Have the ability to view the big picture but simultaneously diving deep into the scenarios. Incredibly curious to understand why things are done in a way but ability to challenge the same to design the future while maintaining the trust. Solicit and welcome critical feedback.

Make tradeoff decisions based on technical and business insights and experimentations

Championing the instrumentation and feed insights back into product development process to drive growth.

Clearly communicate product plan, roadmap, benefits and results as appropriate to a spectrum of audience from stakeholders to Humana executives and employees

Required Qualifications:

Computer Science undergraduate or other engineering degree equivalent

Minimum 3 years of Product experience

Ability to make data-driven decisions

Ability to disagree respectfully and commit for the good of the organization

A customer-centric approach to designing, building, experimenting, and iterating products

A driver personality - constantly pushing towards clarity and delivery while balancing the need for great collaboration

Ability to take initiative and address something hands-on, persevere when others give up

A deep desire to learn and grow

Passion towards Humana's mission and the organization's hybrid technology/operations nature

Ability to influence and persuade people to make decisions

Experience with interacting and presenting to senior level leadership

Preferred Qualifications

3-5 years of experience delivering highly successful enterprise product with your signature all over them

Prior healthcare experience

WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role). A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mbps download x 10mbps upload) is required.

A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Covid-19 Vaccine Policy

Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or while working in the field. Every associate and contractor who work inside a Humana facility or in the field, regardless of vaccination status, must complete a daily health screening questionnaire.
