The charter of the Digital Transformation Office

The Digital Transformation Office is a new function critical to the continued success and growth of Pure Storage. Its charter encompasses two areas of focus:

Driving growth and faster business outcomes through IT

Accelerating the adoption of Pure as-a-Service (PaaS) - the solution that makes our existing products available as a service for our customers

Senior Director, Solutions Architect, IT Applications

We are seeking a strategic thinker as Senior Director, Solutions Architect who will be responsible for partnering with the business and Pure IT Application teams (Quote to General Ledger) to conceptually define the end to end solutions and technology supporting Pure Storage’s Subscription Services Business.

This critical role will report to the CIO.

What will you do?

Define a multi-year vision for end to end future proof solutions needed to support and enable Pure Storage's Subscription Services business

Develop a strategy roadmap for execution of that vision

Responsible for end to end high level solution designs in support of new business models

Partner with the IT Applications teams that are responsible for detailed solution design and delivery

Partner with the business teams on concepts and viability for new/proposed business models

Build rapport, credibility and cohesion across all business, operational and technology teams. Maintain strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, evidenced by the ability to establish and maintain a high level of trust and confidence.

Act as a subject matter expert and sounding board to business leaders in the development of IT solutions for business needs.

What you bring to the team

The experienced candidate that we will identify has a very good understanding of the Subscription Services business and is up to date on new and upcoming trends

A strategic thinker, you have the ability to define the roadmap and collaborate with the execution teams.

As an influential leader, you have the credibility to drive consensus and decisions across organization boundaries.

Desired qualifications

Strong high tech background with 15 years of professional experience with a focus on solution design and process improvements

Deep domain expertise of the end to end Subscription Lifecycle Management

Subject matter expert in Subscription Services business models and processes including New Product Introductions, Pricing Models, Consumption Metering, Billing and Revenue Recognition and needed analytics

Experience with cross-functional senior stakeholder management

Demonstrated track record of leadership through influence.

Demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative environment with heavy emphasis on teamwork.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization internally and externally

Team player who brings a sense of positive energy and the ability to influence, inspire and motivate cross-functional partners across the organization

BS/BA, and MBA preferred
