HCS PROGRAM MANAGER - VIRTUAL CARE CENTER','MAN002FO','!*!The HCS Virtual Care Center Program Manager oversees and participates in the development, implementation and execution of a variety of virtual care projects that are in support of the Virtual Care Center mission. The individual leads project staff and oversees their work in order to implement, execute and achieve strategic, financial and compliance goals for the program. The program manager builds relationships with clinical and entity leaders; gathers and provides information on key issues relevant to telehealth and develops education and resources to promote organizational learning. The HCS Virtual Care Program Manager internally collaborates within the HCS and externally with partners to ensure program goals are met. Description of Job Responsibilities: Program Administration: Plan, coordinate and administer activities of assigned program to include developing, implementing, and administering related procedures, processes, services and systems. Oversees and participates in developing and managing project work plans on assigned programs. Manages / Supervises Staff Manages and oversees work of staff to accomplish the day-to-day program objectives; this includes providing performance feedback, mentoring them and supporting their professional development, hiring and addressing employee performance issues. Oversees the work of VCC staff members that contribute to furthering the program. Evaluation /Analysis / Quality Improvement Analyzes and resolves complex issues to maximize efficiency. Ensures all proper internal controls are in place to safeguard assets of the system and satisfies internal and external regulatory requirements. Gathers others input and synthesizes information across multiples sources. Working with peers and others continually evaluates program, assist with efforts to collect data, report data, analyze data and improve program. Communication and Relationships Implements processes to identify, implement and ensure standardization. Works to assure decisions and solutions occur with minimal disruption to patient care or administrative activities. Builds and maintains relationships and strategic partnerships with system, entity and clinical leaders representing the program. Provides day-to-day oversight of the development of education and communication resources that develop strong relationships with clinicians and builds awareness of the program benefits and offerings. Collaborates with individuals across UNC HCS business units to advance the work of the VCC; such as with compliance, billing, coding, legal, ISD and with external partners, and program participants to ensure that program goals are achieved. Works to enhance efforts to make business cases for use of virtual care and better understand how operational processes within UNC HCS can be leveraged for further program growth.Financial and Business Planning Provides analytical and strategy support for the assigned program. Performs analytics, provides business insight into implications of findings, develops business plans, and recommends opportunities for improvement. Assist in development and updating annual budgets for programs within the Virtual Care Center and shares responsibility for overseeing budgets, reviewing monthly financials, and ensuring that the program’s spending is aligned with resources. Develops and monitors operating and capital budget.Strategic Planning Contribute to high-level, strategic planning to define program objectives and determine delivery model that assures successful outcomes.
