Profile
Leads the Executive Compensation function for PVH and sets strategic direction by closely following trends for application. Oversees planning, development, and implementation of new and revised compensation programs, policies, procedures in order to be responsive to the Company’s goals and competitive practices. Assures consistent administration in compliance with company policies and government regulations through audits, reports and personal contacts. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Manages the key areas of executive compensation and equity programs and liaise with third parties to develop a consistent best practice approach.
Consults with SVP Global Compensation, EVP Global Compensation, Benefits & HR Systems and business partners in alignment of executive pay and equity plans with the Company’s goals.
Provide analysis and reports for Compensation programs disclosed for annual proxy statement and partner with Legal and other functions to complete.
Responsible for ensuring that the practices are compliant with the relevant regulatory recommendations and requirements.
Leads the selection, development, implementation and effectiveness feedback of incentive systems. Will be responsible for the work involved in transitioning to a new system including setting requirements, transfer of data, testing, production, change management and associate experience.
Monitors the effectiveness of compensation policies, guidelines and procedures.
Responsible for communication development and global training of incentive plans.
Oversees the administration of the bonus and equity program.
Applies expertise to field more complex inquiries from senior executives, business leaders and corporate and divisional accounting teams.
Collaborates with Finance team to set bonus measures, produce quarterly estimated statements, accurate bonus accruals and proper funding of programs.
Benchmarks plans on a continuous basis to align with business objectives and market trends.
Supports the Company’s participation in surveys and makes recommendations on new and current subscriptions.
Stays up to date on regulations, trends and issues in all countries in which we have associates for whom we are responsible.
Advises management of appropriate resolution for compensation-related issues.
Participates in and leads special projects as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience:
10+ years of progressive experience in Compensation
2 to 4 years of dedicated experience in Executive Compensation & Equity
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, HR or related major
CCP Certification and GRP Certification a plus
Skills:
Mathematical aptitude, analysis skills.
Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Ability to work with all levels of management.
Sound judgment.
Ability to audit and check for reasonableness.
Knowledge of HR & Compensation systems.
