Description
The Senior Project Manager manages all aspects of a project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget. The Senior Project Manager work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Responsibilities
The hours are Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm EST.
The Senior Project Manager works as a strategic partner with stakeholders aligning overall project to company goals and outcomes by partnering with cross-functional teams to identify synergies and efficiency opportunities.
This position will design, communicate, and implement an operational plan for completing the project or initiative; monitors progress and performance against the plan; takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
Additional responsibilities are:
Identifies, develops, and gathers the resources to complete the project.
Prepares designs and work specifications; develops project schedules, budgets and forecasts; and selecting materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors.
Communicates with other operational areas in the organization to secure specialized resources and contributions for the project.
Conducts meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of the project. Sets priorities, allocates tasks, and coordinates project staff to meet project targets and milestones.
Required Qualifications
3 or more years of project management experience, in healthcare services or clinical programs, to include 1 year of leading/owning projects among cross functional areas of business
Proven ability anticipating upstream and downstream impacts and making recommendations that drive business outcomes
Must be able to work 8am -5pm eastern standard time
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor or advanced degree
Project Management, Six Sigma or Agile Certifications
Competence in business consulting and/or operational leadership experience

Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
