ENSCO is seeking an innovative, creative, and highly motivated individual to support the U.S. Space Force, Space Systems Command’s MILSATCOM Program through the MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (MSEIT) contract. This position, located in El Segundo, CA, will support a diverse set of strategic and tactical MILSATCOM systems and infrastructure in a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment.Duties will include:Participate in weekly Change Control Boards and assist with board package coordinationSupport Directorate level changes (assign number, log and track)Maintain status accounting information related to Board packages and tracking packages through enterprise and program level boardsMaintain Technical baseline in two databases - TopVue and LivelinkSupport working group configuration controlSupport SOW and CDRL documentation generationPlan and coordinate preparation of project documentation, such as Request-For-Change (RFC), production specifications and schedules, and contract modificationsAnalyze proposed changes to the Technical Baseline to determine effect on overall product and systemEstablish change request and prepare for change authorization and documentationReview and analyze released engineering change data and coordinate changes with engineeringSupervise a team of configuration managersBachelor's Degree Configuration Manager certification, such as Certified International Configuration Manager (CICM) Expert knowledge of hardware and software development life cycles and CDRL development process Knowledge of EIA-649-1, MIL-STD-973 and MIL-HDBK-61 Knowledge of DoD-5010-12-M and DoD-5015-2-STD Demonstrated leadership of configuration management team, including managerial and supervisory Demonstrated technical leadership in defining, documenting, and instantiating the configuration management process for programs and projects, including recommending and implementing military standards and CM best practices Proficient in Microsoft Office Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment 20 years of configuration management experience 15 years’ experience directly supporting DoD personnel on space programs 10 years’ experience with SATCOM systems, preferably MILSATCOM AN ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITON, FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A US CITIZEN.
