Work you’ll do

The Analytics Program Manager will provide day-to-day leadership of the large analytics team with numerous independent and related tasks and serve as primary point of contact for Department Senior Leaders and COR. Engage directly in prioritizing assigned work, allocating resources to tasks, overseeing analytics QA/QC, and identifies delivery risks, communications those risks to the Program Office and COR, and develops risk mitigation plans to avoid or minimize impact on contract delivery.

Additional duties:

Perform project tasks independently, and may direct the efforts of others

Participate in and/or lead the development of deliverable content that meets the needs of the client and contract

Anticipate client needs and formulate solutions to client issues

Review deliverables for accuracy and quality

Provides coaching to junior staff

Contribute to new business proposals and proposal development

Manages own personal and professional development; seeks opportunities for professional growth and expansion of consulting skills and experiences

Travel up to 10% (While 10% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)

Our Strategy & Analytics portfolio helps clients leverage rigorous analytical capabilities and a pragmatic mindset to solve the most complex of problems. By joining our team, you will play a key role in helping to our clients uncover hidden relationships from vast troves of data and transforming the GPS marketplace.

Analytics & Cognitive will work with our clients to:

Implement large-scale data ecosystems including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging cloud-based platforms

Leverage automation, cognitive and science-based techniques to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions

Drive operational efficiency by maintaining their data ecosystems, sourcing analytics expertise and providing As-a-Service offerings for continuous insights and improvements

Qualifications

Required:

Active TOP SECRET Clearance w/current SCI eligibility

Master's Degree, preferably in key subject areas of analytics, foreign affairs, and/or national security.

10 years of analytics consulting experience in the Public Sector

5 years of experience developing data science and AI/ML solutions including proficiency in back-end data ETL software and processes, object-oriented programming languages (e.g., R, python, Julia), geographic information systems and geospatial analysis, data visualization capabilities, and Agile project management software.

5 years of experience leading an enterprise analytics program.

5 years of experience leading the development of sustainable analytics platforms

to support enterprise data-informed decisions making

Experience effectively growing and leading analytics projects of 50 staff in a complex,

multi-project environment

Agile Project Management Certification w/demonstrable experience applying methods in an analytics environment.

Data Analytics Certification(s).

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

Demonstrated experience effectively identifying, communicating, and resolving delivery risk in a complex, multi-project environment; and

Demonstrated experience managing project financial resources in a complex, multiproject, multi-CLIN environment.

Experience leading teams that evaluate key agency data challenges and the application of enterprise scale analytics solutions with thousands of active users.

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational skills

Ability to work with both technical and functional resources
