Our Employment and Training 

Department 

is conducting a search for a full-time case manager to provide case management and care coordination services to individuals and families within the RI Works program.  As the Case Manager you will assist with resolving barriers

 to

 their progress, provide service coordination and situational counseling to RI Works clients referred 

by the Department of Human Services.

The RI Works Case Manager will complete assessments in order to create thorough goal plans and 

make referrals to address needs, coordinate with DHS Employment and Career Advisor,  provide job readiness workshops track attendance in activities, and enter data in DHS, CCA and monthly reporting systems. The Case manager must have the ability to assess, engage and motivate clients to work toward financial self-sufficiency 

through educational, vocational training and employment obtainment.

 The RI Works case manager should have skills in multi-tasking, prioritizing, using multiple data entry systems.

Education and Licensing Requirements

: Bachelor's degree, Experience may be substituted. 

May require in the future a case management/community health worker certificate- must be willing to obtain certification if required. 

Must have demonstrated case management skills and experience; emergency intervention methods, family dynamics, health, mental health and substance abuse systems; and knowledge of community resources. 

 Bilingual-Spanish preferred.  Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle required.
