About the Role
The Director, Saas Solutions Business Development, is laser-focused on closing profitable business – developing new opportunities, managing and supporting a small group of channel partners, securing contracts, and leading the process to acquire new clients through a consultative process focused on History Factory’s archival solutions and the Company’s AMS SaaS product. Ideally the person in this position will be located in Chicago, New York, or Washington, D.C., but location is not a prerequisite. This position is an exciting opportunity to bring a one-of-a-kind product to the marketplace with a salary commission structure compensation package.

What You’ll Do
Generate new leads through targeted follow up of high value prospects in the marketing funnel
Qualify inbound leads and manage the sales cycle end-to end from initial contact through contracting
Develop new relationships through targeted prospecting, networking, and other proactive activities
Identify, develop and manage partners, providing the tools and resources to generate and nurture lead generation
Leverage the experience and expertise of the Company’s executives, managers and subject matter experts to develop recommendations aligned with a prospective client’s needs and opportunities
Lead the process of developing materials utilized in the sales cycle process including memos, presentations, proposals and contracts
Support engagement structure and pricing with business value analysis
Negotiate contracts in collaboration with your direct report
Collaborate with your marketing counterpart and other team members to drive an integrated approach to sales and marketing
What You’ll Bring
A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant b2b business development experience in SaaS, consulting, knowledge management, or relevant professional services fields
Proven experience creating and closing opportunities that entail a combination of software and services
Exceptional consultative selling skills and success securing high value contracts
Proven experience successfully achieving revenue targets
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to develop and deliver executive-level presentations
