Reporting to SVP, Chief Diversity Officer-Comcast Cable, the Senior Director of Lift Zones - will serve as the lead for Lift Zones within the Comcast Cable DEI Team. In this strategic role, the Senior Director will partner with senior leadership to define Lift Zone priorities and align the strategic plan to create a short- and long-range action plan (with associated tasks, timelines, and methods of measurement), partner with our local teams, community partners and other key teams and work collaboratively to achieve our overall company and team goals. Lift Zones are a part of our larger initiative called Project UP. Project UP is our comprehensive initiative to advance digital equity and help build a future of Unlimited Possibilities. Backed by a $1 billion commitment to reach 50 million people, Project UP encompasses the programs and community partnerships across Comcast, NBCUniversal, and Sky that connect people to the Internet, advance economic mobility, and open doors for the next generation of innovators, entrepreneurs, storytellers, and creators. Lift Zones provide communities with free WiFi in a dedicated safe space where community members can learn, connect and grow. They bring high-speed Internet into community-based organizations where students, adults, and seniors can access resources and programming to support their learning journeys. The Sr. Director of Lift Zones will lead and execute the strategic plan for Lift Zones. They will direct both internal and external business-based partnerships, strategic initiatives, insights, and analytics to support the evolution of the Comcast community-based business-driven programs in Lift Zones. In the role, the Sr. Director will collaborate closely with key partners on Internet Essentials, Internet Essentials Plus and the Internet Essentials Partnership Program for awareness and adoption within Lift Zones. In this capacity, the Sr. Director will maintain close business-based partner relationships and partner activations for the Internet Essentials and Lift Zone programs and other program touching income-constrained customers, in collaboration with Sales & Marketing, Product, Consumer Value Proposition, Solution Design, Impact and Inclusion, Government Affairs and Comcast Business teams.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

Manages day-to-day relationships with key internal and certain external Lift Zone business partners-serving as primary point of contact for Comcast Business, Sales & Marketing and Government Affairs, and external vendors.

Works cross functionally to identify risks and opportunities to help drive Internet adoption and enrollment in the Affordable Connectivity Program by leveraging business relationships.

Manages administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, briefings, and developing materials specific to business partners and key internal audiences.

Executes macro and tactical strategy around business partnerships.

Serves as a spokesperson for the initiative internally and externally often presenting at conferences and sharing insights with various elected officials and among other teams.

Partners with DEI, Government Affairs, Comcast Business, and Comcast Rise businesses to achieve Lift Zone goals.

Manages business partnerships that promote the overall Lift Zone strategy and the digital equity mission.

Collaborates with internal stakeholder on business plan creation and evolution to partner in driving growth and support our digital equity goals.

Develops a monthly reporting structure for all initiatives/ activities with recommendations on next steps (continue, expand, or discontinue participation; new potential partners identified; key presentations/takeaways).

Oversees new and existing vendor management including monitoring, reviewing, and tracking outcomes.

Identifies opportunities to drive efficiency and growth

Provides general project management support for the Partner Development & Communication Activation team's initiative.

Provides program expertise and ensures knowledge sharing of best practices with Lift Zone, Internet Essentials and ACP stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in initiative execution tactics.

Works collaboratively with the Impact & Inclusion team, our division and regional teams, government affairs, sales and marketing, to monitor, review, and track outcomes of Internet Essentials, ACP and Lift Zone outreach and employee engagement efforts.

Education

Bachelor's Degree
