Lead the Data Capability Group for Enabling Functions and serve as a member of the Chief Data Officer's leadership team.

The position will:

Head the EF Data Capability Group iedicated to the data and analytical needs of the Enabling Functions, providing data and analytics consulting services as well as delivery and operational support of data management and analytical solutions

Lead a team of between 12 and 15 BMS FTE and between 50 to 100 provider staff

Be a member of the CDO/EIM leadership team and partner with the CDO to drive the data agenda of BMS

Lead the data and analytics advisory for EF, leveraging EF process and EF data expertise, advise on good data management practices and usage of analytics as well as on emerging technologies and commercially available solutions

Lead the business partnering for Corporate Analytics, develop the business case for building a data or analytic solution and Estimate one-time delivery costs and ongoing maintenance costs for data and analytic projects

Manage the delivery of master data management solutions and governance services to provide clean, consistent, de-duplicated data sets and cross-reference/mapping solutions

Manage the delivery and operations of strategic/long term data management and analytical solutions for EF (e.g. HR Data Lake)

Manage the delivery of fast, short-term data and analytical solutions to meet very time sensitive data and analytical needs

Required:

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems

10 years experience in data, analytics and related technologies designing, implementing, and/or supporting data, reporting and analytic platforms

7 years experience in data, analytics and reporting or information technology related field within the pharmaceutical industry.

Ideal Candidates Would Also Have:

Prior experience in analytics

Prior experience in working with global Life Sciences data is a required
