ENSCO, Inc. is seeking an experienced, forward-thinking Deputy Program Manager (DPM) to lead a team of talented engineers and scientists and in the execution of in-country systems development, testing and deployments. The Deputy PM will have a solid background in systems engineering and the management of technical teams. The successful candidate must have excellent decision-making skills, the ability to form and communicate innovative solutions to customers and teammates and enjoy working as part of a team. The successful candidate must have a proven track record of technical project management, strong leadership abilities and proven business development experience. The Deputy PM will be expected to assist the PM in identifying and developing new business opportunities within the program’s Customer space. The position offers outstanding opportunity for growth and leadership development.The Deputy PM will be responsible for working with the Program Manager on the ENSCO FAILSAFES system. The system is a hardware and software end-to-end iterative development to address the JPEO CWMD office CBRN Wearables objectives. At the conclusion of the first development iteration, the system will be comprised of TRL 9 components (i.e. sensors, communications and network devices, computers and edge computing devices, cloud-based repositories and algorithms), which are integrated by the FAILSAFES software. The entire Proof-of-Concept system will be delivered to internal as well as customer-sponsored field testing, with the FAILSAFE System being demonstrated in a mission relevant environment. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense (JPEO-CBRND). The ideal candidate will be familiar with the JPEO CBRND overall missions, and specifically familiar with integration of wearable capabilities which can be integrated into a single system to meet mission objectives.The Deputy PM role includes management, direction and control of all program activities to design, develop, produce/procure, and integrate the entire System. It includes project controls relating to financial management (both internal and external reporting), ensuring staffing, oversight of all deliverables, project milestones and work products, oversight of custom and COTS procurement, oversight of data and configuration management, subcontract management and security management.Sign-on/Relocation Bonus Available, Hybrid/Remote OpportunityA Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology-related discipline or equivalentMinimum 7 years of direct and demonstrated experience in scientific systems design and/or systems integration, deployment and testing.Demonstrated Project or Program Management experience at a PM or Deputy PM level.A working understanding of systems engineering, integration, deployment and testing.
