Against that backdrop, Humana is seeking an accomplished go-to-market professional to join our organization in the role of Associate Director, Neighborhood Center. Neighborhood Centers are a portfolio of more than 50 retail locations where Humana members and other consumers can experience the Humana brand promise in a high-touch, retail setting, to include health education and improvement programs, clinical support, health screenings, customer service support, agent/sales support, and peer social engagement.
This position requires a high degree of competence to develop and lead strategy through execution, and collaborate with leaders and teams across the enterprise. The Associate Director will work closely with our Marketing leadership team and with line of business leaders to support business objectives and maintain segment leadership relationships. He/she will be a go-to-market thought leader providing trusted counsel on marketing and experience direction, growth plans, engagement strategies, and enablement across the Neighborhood center area.
The Associate Director, Neighborhood Centers will lead a team of four associates and will report directly to the Associate Vice President, Neighborhood center. This position will be based at Humana's corporate headquarters in Louisville, KY or can work virtually with some occasional travel.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Develop and lead the strategy through execution for the Neighborhood center
Work directly with cross-functional leadership teams providing leader decision support in a flexible, timely manner, drawing from existing frameworks and new insights
Build, deliver, and oversee growth plan strategies to ensure channel effectiveness
Demonstrated experience with managing department budget and prioritization of business needs
Collaborate effectively with the CRM team and other units within the Marketing organization to analyze product strategy, product portfolio, and segment strategies to identify new needs and proactively provide solutions
Develop and oversee portfolio management of Neighborhood centers retail locations
Support executive reporting and business partner relationship deliverables
Support and oversee Health outcomes impacts of Health programming in the Neighborhood Centers
Oversee the work of external agencies and manage Humana's relationship with those agencies
Develop and execute the Service Strategy to drive the member experience in the Neighborhood Center
Key Candidate Qualifications
In general terms, the ideal candidate will have deep marketing leadership experience in the retail health case space or care space (i.e, hospital, large medical practice, MSO, EHR vendor, etc.). The ideal candidate will be a 'big picture' thinker with a high level of business acumen and the ability to assess the market, develop service strategies and plans, and successfully activating them. The ideal candidate will have an MBA or Master's degree in Marketing or a related communications field or equivalent work experience with an applicable undergraduate degree.

Exceptional oral and written communications skills
The polish, poise, and leader presence that will ensure effective interaction with senior and executive level audiences
Excellent collaboration skills with Marketing leadership, peers, and associates - both matrixed and direct
Proven track record in culture building, team development, and preparing direct reports for upward mobility
Experience serving as a company representative at conferences, trade shows, and other external forums
