The Director, Clinic/Center Administration requires an in-depth understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across the function or segment.

CenterWell Senior Primary Care, a subsidiary of Humana Inc., is the new brand for a primary care medical group practice with centers open or opening in Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Nevada, North Carolina, South Carolina and Texas. CenterWell Senior Primary Care has a strong emphasis on senior-focused primary care for members of Medicare Advantage health plans and is committed to providing personalized, high-quality primary care combined with an excellent patient experience. Assignment Capsule:
CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking a Regional Operations Leader for the Kansas City market. Under the supervision and guidance of the Market President, the Regional Leader holds principal responsibility to oversee operations of the medical centers. The Regional Leader works collaboratively with clinical and operational leadership in a matrixed organization in delivering excellence in population health management. The Regional Leader will be responsible for leading the work and teams to optimize the center's overall success. This will include facilitating strategy around utilization and cost patterns along with ensuring quality and continuity of care for members. A strong focus will be on partnering to ensure patient experience is optimized throughout the organization. Primary duties include the hands-on oversight of the daily operations of the centers to ensure maximum efficiency in the care and service of patients.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration or at least 5 years of direct multi-site practice management
Experience working in a risk based practice model
Five or more years of operational leadership experience within a multi-physician office or clinical group
Direct leadership experience and demonstrated ability to lead, coach and mentor teams
Analytical capabilities
Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to interface effectively both internally and externally with a wide range of people including physicians and key providers, hospital executives, medical groups, IPA's, community organizations and other office and health plan staff
Knowledge of and experience working with Provider Communities
Knowledge of Excel, Word and Power Point Presentations in a business setting
A high level of engagement and emotional intelligence
This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana/Senior Bridge's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.
Preferred Qualifications :
Master's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field
Experience working in a risk-based practice model or key elements of the model (risk adjustment, utilization management, provider contracting)
Operational leadership experience within a multi-physician office or clinical group with experience and a passion around working with diverse populations (members and staff)
Strategic Planning and Consulting experience
Medicare knowledge
Managed care experience
Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMRs) or Health Information Management (HIMs) systems
Proven ability to function effectively in matrix management environment and as a member of an interdisciplinary team
Experience managing a budget of $500,000Additional:
Center operational hours are Monday - Friday from 8 AM until 5 PM with necessary modifications as dictated by operational needs
