The Director, Product Management Conceives of, develops, delivers, and manages products for customer use. The Director, Product Management requires an in-depth understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across the function or segment.

Humana is seeking an accomplished, customer obsessed and results oriented Product Leader to manage and grow our Digital presence. This role will be responsible for transforming the current Shopping experience, from awareness to purchase, by finding value creating opportunities and driving innovative and sustainable product solutions through technology. S/he will champion a startup mindset and promote agile ways of working to design, develop and deliver differentiated experiences for our customers.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative, product-oriented team player and dynamic leader comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. S/he must be a strong communicator, comfortable working with internal stakeholders of all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

Employ empathy and design thinking to define scalable product solutions by deep knowledge of internal and external customers

Encourage adaptability informed by emerging solutions, industry trends and changing customer needs

Partner with cross functional leaders to define, develop and deliver differentiated digitally enabled sales experiences

Establish long term product direction and roadmaps, informed by customer and business needs, partnering with leaders across the organization to drive alignment

Fostering a strong agile discipline and inspiring teams to continuously improve delivery through key agile metrics

Partner with technology leaders to influence end state architecture that drive secure, resilient and scalable technology solutions

Attract, grow and retain product talent who drives product success metrics including engagement, lead gen, lifetime value, member growth, conversion and customer satisfaction

Role Essentials

5 years of agile product management experience, preferably with health insurance products

5 years of experience translation strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

Proven track record of managing all aspects of a product throughout its lifecycle from concept to delivery

Deep expertise in one or more areas (sales, marketing, design thinking, human centered design, agile product development) with a broad set of complementary capabilities

Collaborative and goal-focused

High sense of accountability and strong problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence across the organization
