is hiring a Senior Technical Product Manager - Pricing and Promotions Platform
. As a Senior Technical Product Manager for our Pricing and Promotions Platform, you will play a key role in shaping the future of pricing and promotional platform, as we continue to transform and evolve this critical capability to help bring various pricing and promotional value propositions to our customers.
In this role, you will collaborate with multiple product and engineering teams to evolve the pricing and promotional platform capabilities to meet the enterprise needs. You will be responsible for the enterprise pricing and promotions platform roadmap, drive the product strategy, manage a highly scalable platform in support of a consistent and delightful customer experience. As a champion of your strategy and customers, you will evangelize your strategy and obtain buy-in from key stakeholders across the organization, including executive leadership.
We are looking for a candidate who has a high degree of technical aptitude with the ability to drive product strategy for complex systems and a passion for setting vision and inspiring teams.
Key responsibilities:
Set the strategic vision and tactical priorities for the pricing and promotions platform based on rigorous analytics.
Define the enterprise pricing and offers platform vision, strategy, and roadmap that will deliver customer value and BBY’s business and financial goals.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineers, product teams and other stakeholders to build technical capabilities in support of enterprise growth.
Identify new opportunities, define the business case and drive organizational alignment.
Prioritize and plan the resources needed to deliver key projects on budget and on time.
Become familiar and able to support product team budget and financial goals.
Conduct performance reviews, development planning, and other people management responsibilities for direct reports.
Generate and implement big ideas to drive business improvements, innovation, and scale
Minimum Qualifications
2 years of relevant Product Management Experience (Development, User experience, Strategy, etc.)
1 years of experience with direct people management and team management
1 years of relevant experience in strategy creation, customer-focused solutioning, cross-functional leadership, etc.
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Marketing or related field OR equivalent combination of education and/or experience
Preferred Qualifications
3 years working on technology platforms, micro service architectures, or cloud/SaaS products.
Experience working as an engineer or product manager in complex distributed systems, ideally inclusive of microservice architectures
Experience in retail, preferably in the pricing and promotional domain.
6 years of relevant Product Management Experience (Development, User experience, Strategy, etc.)
2 years of experience with direct people management and team management
Proven track record of owning and delivering innovative experiences to customers.
Demonstrated ability to translate customer needs into product and technical requirements.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, evaluate outcomes and iterate using the learnings.
Experience with varied software delivery methodologies such as forms of Agile development, and/or lean Development.
Strong and articulate communicator; able to influence both peers and executives.
Strong written communication and presentation skills
