As the Lead Product Manager - Oncology, you will be accountable for developing, delivering, and managing clinical oncology products and delivering financial, clinical and member experience outcomes. Working closely with Product Management leaders, you have accountability from design to delivery of fully-developed integrated experiences that meet the needs of the customer and stakeholders, including but not limited to the integration of care management, utilization management, and pharmacy capabilities. The ideal candidate has experience launching oncology products and/or designing integrated oncology product experiences and leading or coordinating work across cross-functional teams to create meaningful health care experiences. Responsibilities
Accountable for the full end-to-end experience for consumers and stakeholders including product lifecycle management, strategic product planning, pricing, roadmap development and execution of an integrated clinical product portfolio specific to cohort(s)
Exercises independent judgment and makes decisions on aspects of the assigned cohort/persona(s) including managing the full end-to-end experience lifecycle, user and buyer experiences, development and execution and ensuring the investment and performance are consistent with customer needs
Defines the core metrics that will inform the success of the integrated product(s) experience
Monitors performance and recommends enhancements, gaps, cost adjustments or discontinue investment
Investigates facts and develops solutions to problems during the design and planning phases
Responsible for reporting on outcomes as well as providing timely and accurate information and status updates to functional leaders
Has a solid understanding of the end-to-end member journey experiences and site of care and clinical pathways, defines the requirements to drive improved customer experience and outcomes based on external inputs
Partners closely with operations, vendors, customer success teams and/or enterprise teams, to drive the development and product lifecycle
Provides strategic recommendations on new opportunities, assesses client needs and builds ROI driven business plans
Accountable for defining the integrated experience value proposition and go-to-market strategy in collaboration with Product Marketing
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or other related fields
7 years product management experience and/or experience with end-to-end execution of integrated clinical experiences
Both quantitative and qualitative analysis experience, with the ability to drive to trend identification and actionable insights
Minimum of 3 years of health care experience
Solid track record managing integrated experiences or clinical products that achieved clinical and financial outcomes
Competence working on very large and most complex assignments
Strong ability to drive cross functional teams to alignment in the midst of ambiguity
Ability to adapt quickly and juggle multiple competing priorities in a fast paced environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to comfortably and effectively communicate with a variety of business leaders from operators, to physicians, to management
Desired Qualifications
Experience working with oncology populations
UM, CM and pharmacy experience
Ability to provide an example of the work you have done that has driven significant integration of capabilities to drive outcomes in oncology, including but not limited to care management, utilization management and pharmacy
Experience in driving integrated user experiences
Proven experience in developing and managing P&L and equivalent operational KPIs
Strong ability to independently lead and manage a cross-functional teams to alignment in the midst of ambiguity
