University of Plymouth Students' Union is a charity and is a very friendly work place. We have an opportunity for a Facilities Supervisor to join the team to maintain our multifunctional venue. You will work as part of our facilities team. Excellent building maintenance skills and experience of supervising a team are important in the role. If this is you, then we would like to hear from you. Duties and Responsibilities: To provide a service including maintenance, safety checks, minor repairs and cleaning provision. To supervise the team of Cleaners to ensure that all cleaning staff comply with Manual Handling Regulations, Health and Safety at Work act and COSHH Regulations or all cleaning products and routines. To provide support to the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manger daily ensuring the smooth running of the facility operation. To assist the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager in managing planned maintenance and basic Health and Safety. Please refer to the Job Description and Person Specification for further details.
