Director of Workforce Training and Career Education
. The Director will serve as the leader in non-credit training at Missoula College with a specific focus on cyber education.
The successful candidate will exhibit a deep dedication to promoting student success, recruiting new learners, be capable of excellent service to students from diverse backgrounds with a variety of academic and professional interests, flourish in a collaborative environment, enjoy networking, understand current employment trends and opportunities, and have a deep appreciation for two-year education.
Responsibilities include:
Project manager for non-credit training with a specific focus on cyber education.
CyberHub public relations, communications, marketing (website, newsletter), business relations, and board development
CyberHub range and non-credit training management
Recruiting (Veterans, DLI clients, HS)
Internship/apprenticeship formation
Data & reporting
Private business development & relationships
Public sector development & relationships- defense contractors, government, and military
Position Details
Position is full-time, 1.0 FTE, Letter of Appointment and includes a comprehensive and competitive benefits package including Insurance package, mandatory retirement plan, partial tuition waiver, and wellness program.
Salary for this position is $65,000 per year commensurate with qualifications.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of professional experience developing, promoting, and managing internship/experiential learning opportunities for students in a higher education environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with students, alumni, employers, faculty, and staff
The ability to work and solve problems collaboratively and maintain a sense of cordiality in the workplace
Ability to research and gather information regarding new and existing non-credit opportunities
Exceptional organizational skills
