Position: Director, Operational Excellence Performance Management

Job Description
The Director of Performance Management within the Operational Excellence Group will be responsible to develop a consistent performance management process that drives the Global Product Development and Supply (GPS) strategic and operational objectives. Key contributor to development and execution of continuous improvement initiatives, strategic scorecards and dashboards, best practices in business processes, operational excellence principles and systems development and deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain clear and ambitious SMART KPIs to ensure that organization objectives in the areas of safety, quality, service, cost and efficiency are met
Develop a comprehensive data collection, performance reporting and review mechanism
Develop a cascading performance management model to ensure deployment performance is tracked for OpEx continuous improvement projects and tied to GPS business outcomes
Monitor performance execution of OpEx annual savings plan across the business
Lead OpEx Obeya process to track execution progress of strategic initiatives
Share insights into top GPS performance attributes and communicate with:
GPS Strategy and Deployment Lead to ensure potential strategy imperatives are identified, quantified and resourced
OpEx Program Execution leads to ensure projects realize value capture/creation targets
Collaboration with IT and Business Intelligence and Analytics (BI&A) to advance digital reporting, visualization and analytics technologies
Professional experience and qualifications:
10 years cumulative experience in the following areas: business analyst, controller, FP&A, Operational Excellence
Bachelor's degree in a scientific related discipline required. MBA or advanced degree preferred
Direct experience leading and supporting operational excellence transformations in a pharmaceutical or a related regulated industry, is required.
Up to 30% travel (domestic and International)
Skills/Knowledge Required
Experience in financial controlling, financial planning and analytics (FPA), business analysis, business informatics, reporting, data visualization, reporting automation or data process improvement
Passion for excellence
Ability to work in a Global Environment with well-rounded experience executing and leading projects on continuous improvement, Lean, Six Sigma, and operational excellence
Ability to quickly assess a complex scenario and utilize common scenario planning tools and techniques to offer project teams and management viable alternatives
Proficiency in developing presentations to facilitate meaningful discussions, with clearly communicated analysis, findings, and impact
Demonstrated experience analyzing complex situations and processes and effectively integrating and synthesizing the data to form a complete cohesive picture and actionable in-sights
Clear demonstration of the ability to lead through influence, effectively drive performance, build alignment, inform, negotiate and collaborate with various stakeholders
Comfortable telling stories with data
