Responsibilities

Amicus is seeking a hard-working Regional Manager who is responsible for the overall direction of the Managed Service Organization (MSO) in the Assigned Region. The Regional Manager will act on behalf of Amicus in contracting with providers and vendors. Develop and work in accordance with an annual operating and capital budget.

Essential Functions :

Responsible for the overall success of Amicus's operation. This includes staff management, successful implementation of the network development, and ongoing network management. The job also includes the provision of support to the various participants of Amicus and reporting of results to the Executive Team for continued course correction.

Direct/educate staff on operational goals.

Responsible for creating with VP and managing Regional Budget.

Manage the day-to-day operations, not limited to meeting all regional goals as outlined, creation/maintaining a strong provider network, completion of employee annual reviews, maintaining/assuring all employee files are locked/secure, strict adherence to HIPPA, PHI.

Provide the support service for the various committees

Communicate with internal and external customers, assuring professionalism at all time, while building relationships with colleagues at all levels.

Promote Amicus to business and community groups through speaking engagements.

Maintain strong professional relationships with provider network i.e., be aware of IPA activity that effects your market.

Work in other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred

At least 5 years' experience in an HMO or health insurance organization, preferably in a regional office environment, and 5 years of management experience.

Good communication skills, organizational skills, ability to coordinate functions; high level of human relations skills including a sense of understanding of a highly energized political environment.

A good understanding of the role of the MSO, governance and policies

An extensive knowledge of financial planning and budget analysis demonstrated through education or equivalent experience; knowledge of office and/or business administration.

Additional Information

This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana/Senior Bridge's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.

Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or while working in the field.
