Description
The Lead Product Manager Conceives of, develops, delivers, and manages products for customer use. The Lead Product Manager works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
Responsibilities
The Lead Product Manager, Emerging Tech will play a key role in identifying technology-driven innovation ideas and shaping those ideas into proposed engagements. Additionally, a Lead Product Manager exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.
Facilitate discussions and ideation sessions with key stakeholders to elicit future needs or current pain points
Capture output (key points) of discussions to validate understanding with stakeholders and to share with the team
Play the primary role in analyzing needs and creating proposals for engagements detailing the hypothesis, opportunity, potential impact/value, partners/stakeholders, what will be tested/demonstrated, acceptance criteria, timeline, and estimates
Develop an understanding of emerging tech, trends, capabilities, and potential use cases or applications
Create and maintain an innovation backlog and roadmap of ideas along the lifecycle for visibility and awareness for leadership and other stakeholders
Demonstrate a customer-centric mindset and an understanding of strategic intents of our area and the company
Research market metrics and trends to help support potential impact, success metrics, ROI, and overall value of technology and experiments
Create content to communicate the strategy, vision, and value created through our team's output
Engage in shaping and evolving our tech-driven innovation program through discussions and ideation around our processes, target outcomes, and potential service and product offerings
Basic Requirements
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 8 years of technical experience, or equivalent and 2 years of project leadership experience.
Additional Information
Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or while working in the field.
Work-At-Home Requirements
WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
