WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Talent COE designs world-class talent strategies, practices & programs that enable the NIKE business— from acquiring and growing talent to enabling our inclusive culture. The Talent Practices organization serves as the Research, Innovation, Strategy & Design hub of the Talent COE, building capabilities for all teammates. We focus on enterprise-wide Talent Practices for NIKE’s 80k teammates around the world, integrating across the Talent COE and connecting to business strategy and capabilities.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
The Director, Global Talent Practices will play a pivotal role in crafting and implementing well-rounded practices that support the identification, assessment and development of all NIKE teammates. These Talent Practices will enable all employees to have a meaningful career and drive critical business outcomes.
In this role, you will lead the development of Talent frameworks and tools for selection, performance management, development, career and succession planning, diversity, and retention of top talent. You will design integrated practices that support strong decision making across the employee lifecycle (e.g., frameworks and criteria for succession, promotion, leadership potential, performance evaluation, etc.).
You will build an end-to-end talent assessment strategy, from selection to movement/promotion and development. You will partner closely with our Talent Acquisition and Talent Management to ensure that practices are consistent across both internal and external hiring. You will design and lead the assessment of candidates for our executive roles using a range of data (including interviews, performance feedback, and formal assessments) providing insightful feedback into the hiring process.
In addition, you will be responsible for identifying and managing stakeholders up to senior leadership teams, finding out their needs/issues/concerns and addressing these by leading and coordinating the development of stakeholder engagement plans to support the communication of business information and decisions.
Lastly, you will partner across the Talent COE & HR Leadership team and with external vendors to build assessment and talent solutions for our Nike leaders. This role will provide guidance and thought leadership to the People Analytics team on key insights and metrics used for reporting in scorecards, dashboards, and other reporting.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You’ll report to the Senior Director, Global Talent Practices and work closely with teammates across the Talent COE, Business HR, People Solutions, Employee Communications, Business Leaders as well as external partners.
