Roles & Responsibilities
Role Summary: Executive responsible for driving cultural transformation by building a Culture of Excellence that is powered by our people through systems, tools, leadership norms, and capabilities to drive superior patient experiences & business results. Responsible for coordinating change management efforts from a GPS business standpoint and facilitating stakeholder alignment across multiple, concurrent organizational initiatives in collaboration with the Strategy and Business Operations GQ Lead. Accountable for partnering with Business Leaders and HR to seamlessly implement the Culture of Excellence, in the context of the new Company Culture (our new values) across the GPS organization globally.
Responsibilities:
Drive alignment across multiple initiatives to develop an integrated view of change-related activities by stakeholder group and address dependencies, key risks and change barriers.
Facilitate leadership and team-based sessions to identify strengths and challenges to embedding a culture of excellence; design interventions to leverage strengths and mitigate barriers.
Develop and embed culture of excellence plans into the combined company change sustainability plans for GPS/R&D and Medical Affairs.?
Partner with Operational Excellence to foster a continuous improvement mindset (e.g., current practices are routinely challenged and common approaches to excellence are identified and implemented).
Partner with HR to develop learning & development curriculum, performance management processes / expectations and change management and communication plans to support cultural transformation efforts.
Oversee culture of excellence champion network to promote cross-functional knowledge sharing; coordinate with existing Change Champion / change agent networks that may exist.
Monitor & track BMS Quality maturity measures / metrics on a regular basis; design interventions to continue to progress BMS Quality maturity.
Work in collaboration with the Leader of Quality Analytics to provide data-driven insights / updates to leadership, including setting expectations with leadership regarding their role in driving cultural transformation (i.e., embedding new ways of working).
Leadership skills:
Ability to lead large and complex programs, from strategy to execution, to drive cultural transformation and achieve business outcomes.
Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem solving skills to mitigate risks and deliver business outcomes through change management approach.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate, collaborate, and influencein a matrixed organization with a range of technically, culturally, and geographically diverse teams and across organizational lines without direct reporting.?
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders.
Demonstrated innovation, flexibility, open-mindedness, and adaptability to meet objectives in a rapidly changing environment with shifting priorities.
Technical skills:
A dynamic, influential executive with proven expertise in designing and leading cultural transformation, large scale organizational change, project management and enterprise-wide program communications.
Experience implementing change management & continuous improvement principles, methodologies and tools.
Strong and persuasive communication style (written and verbal) through various formats (e.g. presentations, written proposals, reports, correspondence, lead meetings, face-to-face dialogue, etc.).
Ability to organize and manage multiple organizational priorities and / or initiatives requiring change management involvement.
Ability to provide innovative ideas or alternatives that create value including seeking new information and external insights and benchmarking without compromising compliance.
Operational knowledge:
Experience in PhRMA industry and an understanding of the environment, including organizational issues and challenges.
Knowledge of culture & change management theories, relevant thought leadership, and leading practices for driving sustainable change.
Bachelors and / or Masters degree in Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Human Capital Management, etc. a plus.
Active internal and / or external professional network.
Experience / Education Requirements
10 years experience in the PhRMA area, strongly preferred
Proven track record in successful transversal management positions (Operational Excellence, etc?)
?5-7 years of experience in working in change management and program/project management roles on large, complex transformations a plus
