WeDriveU appoints new GM for the greater Miami area
WeDriveU, Inc., a renowned supplier of chauffeurs, has appointed Antonio Tremols as general manager for the greater Miami area. Tremols heads WeDriveU's operations and business development in Southern Florida, where business and leisure customers reserve WeDriveU chauffeurs to drive their personal cars or Avis® rental vehicles. Commenting on his appointment, the new general manager said, “The Miami area is a vibrant region where business, arts, and culture flourish, and there's no better way to enjoy it than with a WeDriveU chauffeur driving your car.” Tremols will report to Dennis Carlson, president & CEO of California-based WeDriveU. The company provides services in more than 350 U.S. cities, with chauffeurs charging $34.50 per hour with a three-hour minimum.
The Dallas Morning News appoints new president and GM
The Dallas Morning News has appointed John McKeon as president and general manager, a newly created position. McKeon brings to Dallas more than 30 years of experience in the newspaper industry. He was recently associated with the Los Angeles Newspaper Group, where he oversaw 9 newspapers and 1,925 employees as president/CEO and publisher. He has also held high-level positions with Knight Ridder, Tribune Company/Times Mirror, Newsday and Sun-Sentinel. Established in 1885, The Dallas Morning News is the 15th largest newspaper in the U.S. with a readership of nearly 1.6 million.
SGT, Inc., names Dr. Joy Colucci as VP
SGT, Inc., has appointed Dr. Joy Colucci as its Vice President of West Coast Operations. In her new position, Colucci will be overseeing the management of the West coast office, including management of the technical staff, which supports both Ames Research Center and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Colucci has held both technical and management positions with large government integrators and universities for more than 25 years. She was also a senior associate with Booz Allen Hamilton, managing the firm's business at several NASA locations. SGT, Inc., offers aerospace engineering, earth and planetary science modeling and analysis, information systems and project management, operational support, and technical services to NASA, NOAA, USGS, DOD, and various other government and commercial organizations.
