DataPoint, Inc. appoints Curtis DePass GM
DataPoint, Inc. has appointed its former director of sales, Curtis DePass, to serve as general manager. He will take over for Carter Smith, who is assuming a management position with DataPoint’s parent company, Continental Broadband. DataPoint delivers traditional high-speed Internet access, an innovative Ethernet Anywhere Internet-access product, and point-to-point connections to businesses throughout the region. Other services include managed servers, disaster recovery, data backup, and network and managed hosting services out of its carrier-class data center. The company’s data center facility is located at its headquarters in downtown Baltimore.
Penn National Gaming appoints Frank Quigley GM
Penn National Gaming, Inc. has appointed Frank Quigley general manager of the company's Empress Joliet Casino and Hotel. Kees Eder will assume Quigley’s position as general manager of Argosy Sioux City. In their new positions, Quigley and Eder will oversee all aspects of the operations at their respective locations. Frank Quigley brings to Penn National more than 25 years of successful gaming industry experience, while Eder has been associated with the hospitality industry for nearly 37 years. Penn National Gaming runs gaming and racing facilities and focuses on slot-machine entertainment. The company currently operates 18 facilities in 14 jurisdictions.
Ken Estelle appointed VP and GM of Rockwell Collins’s technical service solutions
Ken Estelle has been appointed vice president and general manager of technical service solutions. In his new position, Estelle will oversee Rockwell Collins's global service and support operations. The company’s service centers provide repair for and overhaul of aviation electronics. They also provide parts management and logistics for commercial, business, and military aircraft worldwide. Previously, Estelle was associated with Smiths Aerospace in Grand Rapids, MI, as vice president of global customer management.
