Linda Mayer new VP and GM of global marketing and product management for Terex AWP
Terex has appointed Linda Mayer vice president and general manager, global marketing and product management, for Terex Aerial Work Platforms (AWP). In her new position, Mayer will be responsible for developing and leading marketing and product-management strategies across the globe for Terex AWP. Confirming the appointment, Tim Ford, president of Terex AWP, said, “We are excited to have someone of her caliber and experience joining us as a key member of our executive team.” Mayer joins Terex from Rexnord Corporation, where she was the vice president of corporate marketing. Prior to joining Rexnord, she was employed by Kohler Company, a leading name in the manufacturing of plumbing products. Terex AWP is comprised of Genie Industries, Terex® light construction products, Terex® Lift, and Terex® Load King.
Tech Data Corporation hires Greg Parsonson as VP, corporate development
IT products-distributor Tech Data Corporation has hired Greg Parsonson as vice president, corporate development. Parsonson brings to Tech Data nearly 10 years of experience in IT supply-chain management, sales, marketing, international-products distribution, and business development. In his new role, Parsonson will be oversee the exploration, development, and execution of worldwide corporate-growth initiatives. Commenting on Parsonson’s appointment, Tech Data CEO Robert Dutkowsky said the appointment is crucial for the company, as Parsonson’s immense international IT-distribution experience, strong executive leadership, and history of developing successful, strategic growth plans will benefit the company. Prior to joining Tech Data, Parsonson served Best Buy Co., Inc. as an executive in charge of merchandising and vendor relations with Best Buy for Business, a division of the company.
Cyberonics appoints James A. Reinstein as VP, sales and marketing, and GM, international
Cyberonics has appointed James A. Reinstein as vice president, sales and marketing, and general manager, international. In his new position, Mr. Reinstein will be responsible for sales and marketing initiatives in the United States and will be the general manager of Cyberonics Europe SA, where he will oversee all sales and distribution outside of the United States. Prior to joining Cyberonics, Reinstein was associated with Boston Scientific, where he held various positions in sales, marketing, and product management in the U.S., Asia, Europe, and Mexico. Cyberonics manufactures innovative and progressive medical devices.
