Randy Reynoso has been appointed as the new executive vice president & division manager of Wells Fargo & Company's California-based Business Banking Group. Prior to this, Reynoso was associated with Placer Sierra Bank and Placer Sierra Bancshares as president and chief operating officer. In his new capacity, Reynoso will be overseeing the operations in the northern and central divisions of the organization. He will also look after Wells Fargo's regional banking construction lending business in California. Wells Fargo & Company is a financial services company with diversified interests in insurance, mortgage, banking, investments, and consumer finance.
Steve Huey is new senior vice president and general manager of Rentals.com
PRIMEDIA Inc. has named Steve Huey as the new senior vice president and general manager of their Rentals.com division. PRIMEDIA Inc. is the parent company of Consumer Source, Inc., the country's leading publisher and distributor of free apartment, real estate, and auto guides. Commenting on the development, Bob Metz, CEO, Consumer Source said, "Steve was instrumental in the turnaround effort with RentalHouses.com, helping to position the company for sale." Before joining RentalHouses, Huey was associated with Earthlink in various capacities, like aiding the company in product development, mergers and acquisitions, business management, and turnarounds. He was also the general manager of Laurie Software, a subsidiary of Earthlink, based in Orlando, FL.
Applied Materials appoints general manager for its newly formed group
Applied Materials, a leading name in supply of semiconductor equipments, has appointed Tom St. Dennis as the new general manager to its newly formed group, Silicon Systems Group. The recently formed group is a consolidation of all company groups responsible for semiconductor manufacturing. Dennis moves to the new position from his previous rank of senior vice president and general manager of the company's Etch, Cleans, Front End, and Implant business groups. A bachelor's and master's degree holder in physics, Dennis joined Applied Materials as senior vice president in 2005. Prior to this, he was associated with Applied Materials as leader of the company's Physical Vapor Deposition and Planarization and Dielectric Deposition Product Business Groups. Previously, Dennis served as president and CEO of Wind River Systems for nearly four years.
Mary Anderson is new general manager at HLS
HLS, a pioneer in CommonHealth medical education unit, has appointed Mary Anderson as its new general manager. Anderson steps up from the role of executive vice president and managing director to become HLS general manager. In her new position, Anderson will be responsible for management, operations, and long-term planning. Moreover, she will also be in charge of HLS leadership committee and hold a seat on CommonHealth's cross-company executive committee. At the same time, Anderson will continue to oversee the account management teams and aid HLS strategic planning team to maximize client offerings. Anderson has been associated with HLS for two years and has more than 20 years of experience in promotional and accredited medical education programming.
Salem-Keizer Transit appoints a retired army major as general manager
Allan Pollock, a retired army major with a master's degree in human resources, has been appointed as the new general manager of Salem-Keizer Transit. Pollock will be succeeding Jeff Hamm, who in turn opted for C-Tran in Vancouver, WA, in December. Previously, Pollock was the director of transportation at Montebello, CA, and prior to that Pollock worked as the manager of field operations for Orange County Transportation Authority.
